Objectives | To promote holistic growth of Horticulture sector thorough promotion, extension, post-harvest management, processing and marketing. To encourage aggregation of farmers into farmer groups like FIGs/FPOs and FPCs to bring economy of scale and scope, enhance horticulture production, augment farmers, income and strengthen nutritional security.To Improve productivity by way of quality germplasm, planting material and water use efficiency through Micro Irrigation, support skill development and create employment generation opportunities for rural youth in horticulture and post-harvest management. |
Pattern Of Assistance | Production of planting materials, area expansion, rejuvenation of senile plantation, creation of water sources, protected horticulture, bee keeping, mechanisation, post harvest and establishment of market infrastructures. |

Eligibility Criteria | Bonafide farmers engaged in Agriculture, possessing own or leased land of at least 0.2 (hectares) or more. |
How to Avail | Bonafide farmers can apply in plain paper through the nearest Horticulture Development Officer of a CD Block/ Horticulture Circle. |
